Lindman New York is a full-service custom neckwear company. We make scarves, logo ties, and traditional neckties for large and small organizations as well as for grooms and red-carpet events. We can produce 1,000 silk scarves, and we can hand-make a seven-fold necktie — as well as everything in between.
Our clients range from Harvard University and the Mayo Clinic to Academy Award nominees and grooms. But no matter who our clients are, our commitment to design, quality, and price remains the same.
Each and everyone of our clients has a unique problem that demands a unique solution. We do not offer cookie cutter designs. We do not believe that one size fits all.
Instead, we carefully listen to our clients and develop a custom solution. It can be a bow tie for a groom and his groomsmen or it can be 500 scarves for a medical association.
We meet patrons either in person or virtually. Thus, we help clients from around the country and the world.
Perhaps our story is best told by our clients. Below are just a few of them.
Many of our products are hand-made in New York, using the very highest quality fabric. For larger orders, we work directly with mills in Italy.
G. Carl Rutberg, Ph.D., the creative director and founder of Lindman New York, has a design degree from Pratt Institute as well as Ph.D. from New York University.
Dr. Rutberg is furthermore an adjunct professor at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) where he teaches courses on American history, fashion and fabric. You can reach him by calling 917 364 6675.
We purchase all of our fabric from a small silk mill, located just outside Como, Italy. Thus, from the fiber, to the fabric, to your neckwear —we control the process.
We can therefor guarantee that our products are made in ways that protect the environment, and we can guarantee that our workers earn a decent living and work under decent conditions.
Lindman New York is a proud member of the Custom Tailors & Designers Association — a mark of excellence.
