What you should consider when creating a custom scarf

There are a few things to consider when you create a custom scarf:

DESIGN: If you have a design, we are of course happy to use it. If you do not have a design, we are equally happy to help you create one. We start by having a conversation about your ideas regarding style, colors / patterns — as well as who the intended end user is. We will then present you with a range of design. Once you have selected a design, we will make a sample.

PRINTING: A silk scarf can be printed on one side or on both sides. If you print the scarf on one side, you will notice a difference between the front and the back of the scarf. If you prefer to print the scarf on both sides, you will need a slightly heavier silk — 14mm instead of 12mm. (We also offer 16 mm as well as 18 mm).

HEMS: Do you want a machine finished hem or do you want a hand-rolled hem? A hand-rolled hem is often considered more elegant.

SIZE: Do you want the traditional Hermès size, 36” x 36” ? Or do you prefer a rectangular scarf, something like 24” x 72” ? Or do want a smaller scarf, 27” x 27” ? Well, we can produce any size from very small to very large.

Let us know what you are trying to achieve, and together we will find the right solution to your specific problem.
